there's enough money for free college and health care, it's not a matter of HAVING the money, it's a matter of priorities. and this country feels death and murder of foreigners through war is more important than the health and well being of its own citizens.

Aka, It would be only too convenient for us to regard the Hopi prophecy as a reference to our faith, but to be precise we don't have a sun symbol. We do have several star symbols (yes, I know, the sun is a star). Besides, this is not the place to invite others to study our faith. I'm sure the Native Americans are just as fed up with anything that has even a hint of proselytism as we are. The Hopi prophecy speaks about "two great ones" to accompany "the true white brother", one bearing the symbol of the sun and the other a swastika-like symbol. Since it's a safe bet that the Hopi didn't intend Neo-Nazis nor German Nazis (which both employ these symbols respectively, and would obviously regard themselves as the "the true white brother"), from among the world religions the "sun cross" or "sun wheel" (which is a sun symbol) applies much better to Neopaganism, and the Swastika to Buddhism. Furthermore, the Zoroastrians are sun-worshippers. In any event, I wouldn't read into these prophecies too much, except to surmise that they provide an interesting and insightful analysis on the slow maturation of mankind through trial and error. Kind regards, Wabbit
