in a prophecy borrowed from a recent post in the beliefs thread...

True White Brother will have a sign of a symbol of the sun

Aka,

It would be only too convenient for us to regard the Hopi prophecy as a reference to our faith, but to be precise we don't have a sun symbol. We do have several star symbols (yes, I know, the sun is a star). Besides, this is not the place to invite others to study our faith. I'm sure the Native Americans are just as fed up with anything that has even a hint of proselytism as we are. The Hopi prophecy speaks about "two great ones" to accompany "the true white brother", one bearing the symbol of the sun and the other a swastika-like symbol. Since it's a safe bet that the Hopi didn't intend Neo-Nazis nor German Nazis (which both employ these symbols respectively, and would obviously regard themselves as the "the true white brother"), from among the world religions the "sun cross" or "sun wheel" (which is a sun symbol) applies much better to Neopaganism, and the Swastika to Buddhism. Furthermore, the Zoroastrians are sun-worshippers.

In any event, I wouldn't read into these prophecies too much, except to surmise that they provide an interesting and insightful analysis on the slow maturation of mankind through trial and error.

Kind regards,

Wabbit

Hello Wabbit,

With all due respect, I have different information and take the Hopi prophesy seriously.  Everything is happening as it was said.  Since I have dreams of the future very seldom, I found it necessary to study ancient civilizations for years trying to find out how they did their prophesy and healing.  I am not religious.  I find that most religious folk are going on what others have told them, not on what they know to be fact from accurate visions themselves.  I wonder if you have ever heard of Arkaim.  Here is a link

www.google.com/search?q=arkaim&ie=utf-8&...

So, I believe Arkaim to be a settlement remembered by those who collected stories which later landed in the Bible.  Arkaim is the true "Ark of the covenant".  It was a settlement where people lived in the past.  Note the layout of the structure itself, based on the ancient swastika.  The sun symbol is actually the alignment of the village with the sun.  The sun symbol is in both the swastika and the medicine wheel with a circle around it; either one will suffice because the axes of the wheel are aligned with the sun.

If you Google up Arkaim for a closer look at the excavations, and look at the huge stones erected, they are for the 24 hours of the day and the people of the settlement had chizeled onto the stones the animals of the earth.  These animals at the different clock hours are very significant; they signify where the animals 'live' on the solar clock.  That doesn't make much sense to modern man but the location of the animals was very significant for when healing was done; also knowledge of past, present and future.  So yes, the native Americans did use the sun wheel called their medicine wheel and swastika, which migrated with moving peoples across the globe, having originated in the Arkaim time.

Now, for the red star, it is coming.  It signifies the end of an age coinciding with the Mayan calendar.  Better get our gear in order.  It may already be seen, but not recognized as yet by astronomers.

The bactun long count ended. It has nothing to do with Hopi prophecy or "red stars".

"Dr Robert Ghost Wolf" is a sham and an astroturf medicine man. Only Hopi speak of their own prophecies.

Please explain what YOU mean by the long count ended, and why doesn't it coincide with the red star.  Thanks.

What I said is self explanitory.

Maya beliefs and ways are not the same as Hopi beliefs and ways.

Robert "Ghost Wolf" Franzone - fake, fraud, rip-off artist, and
genuine jerk. (just my opinion of course)
His words to the world. This is a white man from New Jersey (he
stated this on the radio about 1990) and has been making money in
cult scams and now in this "Native American Shaman" scam for several
years. He has a lot of people fooled. Too many people! He claims to
be Indian, but by his own words he is not. He attempted to hold a
"Ghost Dance", and proclaim himself some sort of mesiah sent to save
us all, but I think that one kind of fizzled out. Then he ran off to
Florida when they found the "Miami Circle". He wrote a book about
what this circle is and the people who put it there - as if he had a
clue about any of it. In my opinion, this man is a dangerous cult
freak. He has no clue about anything, but for some strange reason,
others (who also have no clue about anything) listen to him as if he
does.

The long counted ended.  It was not the end of the world.  Is that what you were expecting?  The Hopi prophesied blue stars and a red star shortly after (shortly probably means within 10 years).  I never heard of Robert Ghostwolf.  Apparently you have.

You'll have to forgive me, I didn't know it was Robert Wolflodge.  I posted that because NASA reported the Blue Star Kachinas and it was at the end of the NASA article.  So you hate Robert WolfGhost.  I don't have a beef with him because I don't know anything about him.

though I don't see it as either invitation to study, or necessity to convert... what matters more than my opinion is that of people reading this.

wohali,

how do you feel reading my posts of the opinion of myself and other First Nations people when it comes to connecting prophecy to any kind of "fulfillment today"?

I have many more I'd like to share over time, but if it isn't desired I will refrain.

I dream in my lifetime uhmericans will come to realize hezbollah, hamas, and isis gain followers by helping society AND the only way to defeat them is to perform greater good.

the average person is 8 times more likely to be murdered by a cop than a radical terrorist

Christine, if you say you didn't know who's stuff you were posting, that's good enough for me.

I don't "hate" Robert Ghostwolf, I have a problem with con-men in general. Do you hate people you have never met?
