So most of the CR's I know generally give offerings on a daily (and sometimes twice daily) basis. What sort of items do you offer and why?

Do you have a particular item or substance you use more frequrntly than others?

Do you prefer offerings of food or craft?

How do you "dispose" of the offerings?

How long do you generally leave the offering out for?

Do you perform a divination to see if the offering was acceptable?

What type of divination do you prefer?

Which (if any) offerings have been favoured/ unfavoured?

Have you ever not left an offering?

Did you notice a difference, or consequence from not doing so?

On what occasions would you make multiple offerings?

All I usually leave out is water.  I usually only leave it out for a day and then I pour it on my plants.  Since I live in a dorm, it's really the only practical thing.  I also find that it is very symbolic.  My understanding of offerings has always been that you are giving up something of value to you to the gods.  Thousands of years ago, in many cultures, cattle were offered because they were of great value to the people (ie, as food, beasts of burden, etc.).  But the times change, and so does what is vaulable to the people.  But since water is necessary for life, it is always valuable to us.
