Switch to Forum Live View Toys and games about evolution

I hope it isn't against the rules to shill a little, but if any of you out there have kids, you might want to take a look at my sister's new company, Charlie's Playhouse (http://www.charliesplayhouse.com/).  She makes toys and games for kids who are interested in evolution (or who have parents who'd like them to be interested in evolution).


The flagship product is a giant timeline that folds out to 18 feet long and shows the story of life on Earth using a linear time-scale (not the logarithmic scale used for adults, which makes our part of the story seem longer than it really is).  Man are some of the pre-dinosaur creatures weird!  There's a video on her site of kids playing with the thing.
