The exceptional finding that there is one God awaits each one of us, giving us the ability to change our lives for the better. When we understand the true meaning of one God, our concept of god expands and builds a greater awareness of God’s presence within us. It is a journey towards unity and a new way of living. As we progress on this journey to oneness, we find our lives gradually transformed in a positive way, which includes both the conscious and the unconscious. This balance brings the discovery of a new reality along with a balance between the rational and the irrational, between the intellect and instinct, and between the conscious mind and the unconscious. As we acquire unity, we see that nothing exist in isolation so the nature of our being is unity, a unity of body, mind and spirit. Wholeness or holiness can be achieved with a watchful mind and the knowledge that everything is united in God, if old fears, doubts and prejudices wear away to make room for new ideas and understanding.

I shall go and check the website but would like to know how does a belief in intself (in One God insted of many) make all that difference in one's life. I feel the writer was trying to say something but it did not come through; at least not to me.

I feel unity in God is not a new concept, but we must open up to it to make it effective so it can change our lives, making us aware that our bodies are in harmony with God, and His power is within. God flows through every atom of our being fortifying, energizing and renewing, but we are not aware of it. Embracing and identifying with unity, instead of our minds easily opens our being to the influx of new ideas, new thoughts, new people, and the new situations that come into our experience. Drawing upon the invisible forces of unity with one God, we can feel the oneness and see that responsibility, decision-making and optimism all flow together in one universal consciousness, where God is an obvious reality. When a deep awareness of unity is established, one benefits tremendously physically, mentally and spiritually because the habit of being positive is acquired, and God is no longer a closed concept, but an infinite vast always present consciousness.

To begin our journey to a new life of unity we must see one God or Life beyond the myriad forms so we are not tricked into thinking that there are more than one God. My God is better than your god insinuates that there is more than one God. This statement is false and is a misuse of belief. When the concept of one God is brought forth and understood, a sense or presence of something greater is invoked. It takes time to believe and accept the unifying force in one God and for the undesirable experiences accumulated to gradually disappear. We are either for or against unity so for something new to be born we need to pass from a sense of being isolated into a realization of oneness with everything. Unity can be achieved if we push the envelope and not reaffirm our limitations that our God is the true God again suggesting that there is more than one God. Defending limitations strengthens them limiting our beliefs and realities so to be successful we need the tool of knowledge to explore the unknown and find a deeper meaning in the word of God. With options and alternatives ignorance is not bliss, but a self imposed limitation. The knowledge should be used as a tool to unlock the unknown areas of one pure consciousness in God.

I feel it is irrational to believe in anything but one God. Just as we have one sun, one light ruling our sky and earth life, so one God is the ruler of the unierse. You can't have God from God as then the one who is from the other is beneath from the one from whom he came. We do not have two kings, two presidents etc. - as above so bellow. Order descending.

But the sun is just a star, and our galaxy is simply one galaxy among many. "One God" fits a geocentric worldview, but there are many moons and many stars, as there are many presidents on this speck of dust we call Earth.

We say that God is pure with infinite           perfection. To have two beings there must be some           difference that distinguishes them. A God that is pure with infinite perfection           cannot differ from another with pure and infinite perfection.  In order for pure perfection to           different from pure perfection, it would have to be more perfect than           God and that is obviously impossible. Therefore, there can only be one           God.

Dostojevsky you have a good point. I see the Trinity similar to the yin yang symbol showing duality in he unity of one God similar to three musical notes making a chord. One sound ...............

In a composition one can say that the Father is the subject matter, the Holy Ghost is the action and the Son is the intent. The masterpiece is the unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. This is the Holy Trinity, and upon deep inquiry, we see The Holy Trinity trying to make sense of non-duality. This is a logical problem because the mind in time and space only knows duality, but when we say God is everything, we are saying God is one. The all-pervading consciousness of God is everywhere and is without duality, but it is not without relations.
