Hello:
I am in the process of converting to Judaism. My younger son (age 3) needs to be circumcised soon for medical reasons and so I am going to go ahead and have his brother (4 and a half) circumcised then as well. I'm a little nervous and wondering if anyone here has had a son circumcised at their age and what ther experience was. thanks Libby |

Hi,
Are these going to be halakhic circumcisions (for the purpose of conversion) or plain medical ones? Either way, anyone I've ever heard of that has been circumcised older than 8 days has had anesthesia. One guy said it was like having his wisdom teeth taken out. |
