Well said Bob.
Joe was strict about the course, and what/how things were posted and shared on this board. I didn't always like it but I respected his dedication and decisions. I understand why being strict is important, necessary. Too much of anything isn’t good for us. Too much flexibility can dilute and cause misunderstandings. On the flip side, over controlling can stifle and which also causes misunderstandings (of a different kind). All of it ego.
It certainly gave me pause to take stock of where and what my own ego was up to. Joe challenged me in ways that others hadn’t (couldn’t?). With Joe, I really had to put into practice what ACIM teaches. And for that I’m most grateful.
