The church I attend calls itself The Ukiah Center For Positive Living. Someone asked me recently what we meant by positive living. I don't remember exactly what I said, but later I thought about it and came up with this.
The key to living a positive life is to recognize Spirit as First Cause and the source of all, to be ready to accept into our experience all that Spirit is ready to pour into it, to believe that change is possible even if we don’t know how it will come about, to make our highest and purest intention to be the embodiment of the All Good, and not to worry what other people might think. So that's what I think, I'm wondering how you would describe positive living from a New Thought perspective. |

Jim -
I would describe positive living as listening to that Divine Urge within and saying 'yes' to its message. The next step is trusting that this Loving Presence will lead you to the perfect, harmonious unfoldment of the idea that you have accepted. Not only does this allow you to live a life of greater joy and good, it also helps you develop a personal, loving, trust-filled relationship with the Divine. I can't think of anything more positive than that. Rev. Della |
