I want to try to serve people more if I can.
But I lead a very busy life and time goes very fast. I would like to hear about ideas for little things you can do that will make a difference even though you still have a full time job and other duties. I thought of this the other day when my friend called and talked about herself and her sister for more than an hour. First a was upset but then I thought, well she needed to talk, that was one way I can be of service. Maya |

Hi,
Besides cultivating a constant attitude of service so that when the opportunity arises you act spontaneously, I think for people with little free time and many obligations, monetary support of organizations, if viable for you even in a modest proportion, is a legitimate way to serve. I think people look down on it because it's too convenient to just write a check. But I don't think we should frown on it. You took the time to earn the money, and no doubt that whatever you give it to will have a positive use for it. If you don't have the free time, it's something you can do, right? in friendliness, V. |
