Those of us addicted to the iPod or iPhone will likely appreciate the availability of UU podcasts on iTunes.

I'm listening as I write this to the UU Church of the Larger Fellowship's audio of its May newsletter, Quest. I noticed while surveying the available UU podcasts that some churches appear to upload services or sermons to iTunes as well.

A great way to acquire some inspirational audios, IMO. And the price is right, too...FREE.

I encourage you to have a listen or two and decide what you think.

I neglected to mention above that if you do not have an iPod or iPhone, you can simply copy and paste the URL for CLF's Quest newsletter podcast downloads into whatever your podcast tool may be.

Useful info, huh?

Here's the link:  CLF podcast downloads

Many of you "walled-church" types may not know that you can be a member of CLF in addition to your regular church membership. (Yes, that would mean paying a double pledge, since CLF operates similarly to a "real-life" congregation.) If you're as avid a reader as I, and your church's library seems lacking, you can survey the CLF lending library catalog on the site to see if it has resources that you might wish to borrow.

CLF offers so many more resources for isolated religious liberals or those of us who discover that our local church or churches simply don't suit than it did when I first joined nearly 30 years ago.

I urge you to have a look around at the CLF website, and of course, if your church takes up a collection to support CLF, please give as generously as you can with the realization that CLF is a beacon in the wilderness for isolated religious liberals who haven't a "bricks and mortar" church near where they live.
