I never found any of the arguments in favor of supernatural beings to be plausible or compelling.

I became an atheist as a reversion to the default postion we are all born with. Religions and beliefs have to be taught; we aren't born with them. I got to the point of realizing that I don't believe in anything supernatural. I do enjoy fantasy, but I know it's not real. Christianity isn't even a good or enjoyable fantasy compared to other religious (and non-religious) fantasies - it's pretty boring and not particularly nice.

bvarnell Nothing suggests, let alone demonstrates, that supernatural beings exist in reality. The only place they're know to exist is in the imagination of individual humans. Like any other idea, they can affect conduct. But in the end they're all projections of humans, not influences from elsewhere. |
