I started reading with regular old playing cards - they even have Winnie The Pooh on them hehe...and over the years Ive acquired a tarot deck and a fairy deck...but still those Pooh playing cards are like an old friend to me - and they never let me down either! I started out in high school with playing cards too!  Wow - I'd forgotten about that.  I had a friend whose mother taught us how to do it.  We lived in Nevada at the time and would get decks from the casinos - they punch a hole through each deck when they finish with them and usually the hole would end up more at one end, so we'd use the hole as the guide for reverse readings - if the hole was at the bottom, it was considered "reversed" LOL  We spent an entire summer reading all day every day for anyone we could think of. 

I'm curious about the pendulums.  Something tells me I might do ok with them, but I won't know till I try. 

It's just a little one, they were everywhere in Nevada for anyone who would just look for them.  But the sentiment behind it makes me think that it could be a great tool.  I should get to work on that.

I asked the pendulum to show me yes and then show me no, and that determined which direction was which for me.

It DID work - cant recall now if it predicted anything worth rememebering (obviously not hehe) but I do know a friend of mine used hers a lot (shes passed now...) and it actually was right on something she predicted before her death.  Something I scoffed at actually!  Who has the last laugh now? hehe

I agree that the crystal would be wonderful to use!  Its filled with good energy!  Just remember to cleanse it before using it to rid it of excess and stored up energy!!
