One of the most enjoyable parts of observing Kwanzaa is gathering for the food that is prepared. During each day of the celebration a meal is served, culminating with the Karamu Feast on the last day. It recognizes the meal as one of the central elements not only of the Kwanzaa celebration, but of all cultures across the African Diaspora.
