I am of Iranian descent, interested in learning more about Zoroastrianism, perhaps converting in the presence of a community that allows conversions. But I would like to  learn much more. Are there any thorough books that cover everything we can know about Zoroastrianism? I would like to acquire some books and start this learning process :)

I hear good things about the books by Mary Boyce.  Here's a link:

I would love to get other book recommendations because the Mary Boyce book is very expensive.  I might try to interlibrary loan it though.

I too am looking into this faith... it's teachings and what I instinctively believe are very similar if not the same. I found this site which also has a book; tried to download it but it said the file was damaged and couldn't be repaired.   zoroastrians.net/2008/07/21/zoroastriani...
