What books would you recommend to someone new to New Age spirituality?
I always remember that for every word typed there is a real person sitting behind the keyboard.

I would recommend anything by Shirley Maclaine.
Another recommendation would be the Conversations with God Series by Neale Donald Walsch One more would be The Fifth Sacred Thing by Starhawk. |

The Demonologist: The Extraordinary Career of Ed and Lorraine Warren by Gerald Brittle
I believe this will help ensure your path on the New Age is safe. |

Try "The Disappearance of the Universe", tho you might find it too much until after you have thoroughly studied A Course In Miracles.

"Thiaoouba Prophecy" Author: Michel Desmarquet. Just be sure to read the book all the way through before you formulate an opinion on it's validity.

"New Age" encompasses a LOT.
I personally do not "dig" the new stuff, for me older Theosophical writings are best I like anything from Blavatzky, Manly Palmer Hall, ACIM is good (lots of teaching/interpretations are garbage) but The Course in Miracles is very good read, OSHO is great, The Autobiography of a Yogi, Mahatma Letters I am a "new-age" publisher and I dig books and all that is about literary and “artsy-farsty”...I can make some recommendation to you if you approach me individually. Some poster alluded to the "(diversity/danger)" of all that is out there and there is much truth in that. To be safe you must use iron clad discriminaton that you will stay in the Light and not stray (only of course if this is your goal) I hope this helps.
