Welcome to the ECKANKAR forum on Beliefnet - a community of members/friends of ECKANKAR! We share our understanding of how ECKANKAR, Religion of the Light and Sound of God, helps us achieve our spiritual and material goals. Beliefs include Karma; Dreams; HU - a love song to GOD; and trust in our guide, the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master. Feel free to share with an open heart within Beliefnet Community Rules of Conduct. Opinions expressed on this forum are those of the participants, and not neccessarily those of ECKANKAR or the spiritual leader of ECKANKAR, Sri Harold Klemp, the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.

I  searched most of my life for the path that would help me return home to God.  The day a friend handed me Paul Twitchell's  book "In My Soul I Am Free" I knew that my search was finally ended. Eckankar answers all my questions and has filled my life with joy unending.

Thank you so much for this forum where like souls may meet and visit  to share the love and blessings.

There are Christians who study Eckankar for it's spiritual exercises - to gain the benefits of experiencing the Light and Sound of God, to have more guidance in dreams, and who use these exercises to have a closer connection with Jesus.

It also helps explain their spiritual experiences - My Mother,  a Christian, has experiences with Gods blue light, and the inner sounds of God (called the Word in the Bible). I was able to explain to her how it wss God communicating directly with her.

As a student of Eckankar I honor, love and respect Jesus, but I don't follow him as my spiritual guide.
I believe each person must find the spiritual teachings and spiritual guide that fits their state of consciousness....

Mystical65,
Check the ECKANKAR web, www.eckankar.com and visit an ECK Center in your local area. The web site will help you to find a local center.
You can not rush on the path of ECK. Books and reading are good but doing the spiritual exercises daily is the road to spiritual progress. Also attending book discussions and Satsangs in your local area.
May The Blessings Be
