Ok, I know this post I am starting is bound to cause controversy, but civil people know how to converse in a civil manner. For those who don't know, I am a fairly traditional Anglican (but not so on most social issues), therefore I believe that traditional Christianity has some basic elements in it:

1) Faith in the Nicene Creed as well as the Apostles Creed
2) Adherence 7 Ecumenical Councils of the Church
3) Belief in the Real Presence of the Eucharist (not merely symbolic in any way)
4) Traditional Sacramental theology (Grace being offered through the two dominical sacraments)

Therefore, those who wish to believe that the Pope is the vicar of Christ (as our Catholic brothers and sisters do) or those who believe the Sacrament does NOT become the Body & Blood of Christ are not within "traditional" Christianity.
