Why don't you get the "in god we trust" nonsense off the currency?
It would be wonderful if we did, along with "one nation, under God" from the Pledge of Allegience. Sadly we have too many rabidly Christian raisin cakes in our Legislatures and Congress for that to happen anytime soon.

I think it will be nice if the rotten Republicans and their insane Tea Partiers and loopy Libertarians are trounced this year in the U.S. presidential election. If citizens of the U.S.A. horsewhip the bums of Romney and the Republicans maybe they will start to think twice about such a close association with Christianity in future? Is this too much to hope for?

That would entail progress.... something this society has not done since the Civil Rights Era. And even then it had to be forced on much of the nation.
