That is really neat. I did not know Jim Croce had a son.

A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side. Aristotle

Jim Croce!  I remember him! but I don't think the one I remember was Jewish. I remember 2 songs very well by Jim Croce:  Bad, bad, Leroy Brown, and Time in a Bottle, back in the 60's or 70's, both very popular.  Great tunes!  The "Jewish" Jim Croce was born in 1971, so he was the not the Jim Croce I remember.

By the way  it was Temple Oheb Shalom, who sent out the notice.  That was the one I used to go to.  Sent my kids to their Sunday school.  My older son changed and went to Beth Tifiloh with his friend, an orthodox Hebrew school.  My younger son had a mild form of some type of dyslexia, (forget the name)  and so we didn't send him to Hebrew school.  As a young boy, he had enough trouble with spelling English words or leaving spaces between words.   (He still can't put his kid's puzzles together)  but no matter, he grew out of it,  graduated from law school, and became a busy attorney.  He and his wife joined Chabad and their children go to Orthodox Jewish schools.
