RESPONSE: Hardly apples and oranges. You can't have "an everyone" but not "an anyone." "Everyone" includes the "anyone." Simple logic really. |

Would you believe Jesus? Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." OR Luke 13: 25 "After the master of the house has arisen and locked the door, then will you stand outside knocking and saying, 'Lord, open the door for us.' He will say to you in reply, 'I do not know where you are from.' Oh dear, Jesus has become confused again.

RESPONSE: No logic is needed. These are two contradictory statements of fact, pure and simple. But I recognize that some people can't admit that there are many errors and contradictions in the Bible. Would you believe Jesus? Not all the time.

I think this is you favourite phrase on b-net But I recognise the some people who see conspiracies and contradictions everywhere have a problem with common sense. |

Matt 10:8-11 " You received without payment; give without payment. 9 Take no gold, or silver, or copper in your belts, 10 no bag for your journey, or two tunics, or sandals, or a staff; for labourers deserve their food.” (take no sandals or staffs) Mark 6:8-9 “He ordered them to take nothing for their journey except a staff; no bread, no bag, no money in their belts; 9but to wear sandals and not to put on two tunics” (take sandals and a staff)
One can pretend scripture is inspired and inerrant also long as one ignores the details. |
