that's an interesting point. if an Israeli asks a specific question "when was Baha'u'llah born?" for example, can a Baha'i garden staff answer their question? are the Baha'i garden staff bound to the same restrictions when the person asking the question is not Israeli?
there's enough money for free college and health care, it's not a matter of HAVING the money, it's a matter of priorities. and this country feels death and murder of foreigners through war is more important than the health and well being of its own citizens.

My understanding is that a Baha'i anywhere in the world, including Israel, is not only free to answer a question but failure to do so (if the answer is known) would be inconsiderate if not downright rude. Answering a simple question is NOT "teaching" or proselytizing unless the responder embellishes the reply with a lengthy verbal dissertation on the Faith in general. If an individual receiving an answer to his/her question in Israel seeks further information, it would then be necessary to direct them to the visitors' center. P.S. Gardeners working the lower terraces are non-Baha'i citizens of Israel. Only the upper terraces are worked by volunteer Baha'i staff. ~Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas |

that sounds like terrace discrimination to me if an Israeli asks "is Baha'u'llah the messiah?"

Just kidding. I seriously believe that a person shouldn't be a Bahá'í until he or she is sincerely persuaded, without any external pressure or a personally tempting carrot, by the truth of Bahá'u'lláh.
