Sol sounds like quite an inventive fellow for his day - he imagines the elect dying and waking up god of a new planet to populate and rule (supernaturally, I trust).


Or was he really the angel Moroni working under cover?


Anyway, whoever's responsible for the pseudo-KJV dump should be taken out and - dealt with severely.

You are aware of the old controversy and allegations that the Book of Mormon started out as a Novel by one of Smith's New York neighbors and  that he dressed it up in pseudo-Biblical style?

The one I have has no witches or resurrection.  At a quick glance, it's the same as the text given here (links towards the foot of the linked page).


If you can point out any witches or resurrections, I'll have learnt something.



I too am aware of only one Thomas Jefferson bible, there may have been some drafts before he settled on one version.

On further thought, I'd be altogether astonished if Jefferson included a resurrection in any finished version of his reworking.


As I understand his purpose, magic is wholly antithetical to it.

Yes, the front-page is all italicized, but the threads appear coorectly.
