That's gold Steven, and I've heard 1/2 that stuff-they all sound like typical american christian arguments to me. I especially liked "I don't see why you care about prayer in schools, if you don't like it, just don't listen!" |

I've heard every one of those lies a thousand times. It's amazing that those people can't understand how silly such replies make them look.

Actually it does make me terribly depressed. Especially when you then youtube surf the related videos and hear some of these folks arguing with Hitchens or Dawkins, and using the very same stupid rationalizations. It's all rather hopeless. That force will always be there, and will always strive to rule the nation and forcibly impose religion on the rest of us- destroying gay and lesbian rights, reproductive freedom, scientific inquiry and free thought.

I have heard her before, she is great.
A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side. Aristotle

Howdy Ken
No kidding. It's called "Shit Christians Say to Atheists" and the author identifies herself as "An atheist skeptic mouthing off at the world." No Shit? I guess I missed that part.
