WHY IS OUR MINISTRY SO IMPORTANT?

Always remember that even if people do not listen, our ministry honors Jehovah. Also, he uses the preaching work to fulfill his purpose in these urgent times. Soon, God will judge people by how they react to our preaching. Those who do not accept the good news will be destroyed.  March 15,2012 Simplified English Version

This is the death sentence WTS aka Wizards of ID(iocy) publiclly extend to the world.  They take God's place to judge hearts, by admitting the basis of WTS judgement....a reaction to their preaching....which is NOT THE GOOD NEWS PREACHed BY CHRIST.

Good catch.

Although, I can already see the slippery little suckers weaseling their way out of the plain language here.

Stop ganging up on poor Constantine.  Without him, we'd probably not have a bible today and Christianity might probably have gone extinct.

...and

"all it says is 'those who do not accept the good news will be destroyed'"

Nevermind that we believe we're the only one's preaching "the good news".

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say some would argue that wouldn't be a bad thing...

A Bible on golden tablets would have been squirreled away near Anjou, in Gaul, then an ancient Francophone people would have voyaged to the New World, avant the destruction of Paris by the Teutonic hordes with coke-bottle glasses in 368 A.D.  Then, picking up the story thence, the ascended l'ange would approach the farmboy, Sven Hjalmerstein, in Back of Prussia, Wisconsin, in the year of our Lord, 18aught6, and share the news of the native French peoples of the New World who lived on the shores of le Lac Supérieur, before being whiped out in 18aught5 by the Nephitentsteins of Upper Silesia, on a land grant from Governor Boggs.  -- That's how you'd get your Bible back.

A conservative is someone who believes that firefighters, teachers, and police officers are overpaid.

"Wesley told the early Methodists to gain all they could and save all they could so that they could give all they could. It means that I consider my money to belong to God and I see myself as one of the hungry people who needs to get fed with God’s money. If I really have put all my trust in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, then nothing I have is really my own anymore."

Republicans experience suffering the way they experience all their virtues, i.e. vicariously.

According to "just war" standards of Christian theology, if Saddam Hussein killed 30,000 Iraqis, and the Iraq War killed 120,00, how was the War "just"?

They take God's place to judge hearts

Think we have a little selective reading going on here!  I think the article clearly states who does the judging.  And after choosing the 'Simplified English' version which is geared to those for whom English is a second language, you'd think the poster could get it right.Wink

But if anyone wishes to read the article, for context or for any other reason, Smile that is easy enough to do.

Go to jw.org and look for digital publications, and either open or download the pertinent issue.
