How do you work on this truth?
Jesus had two dads, and he turned out alright.~ Andy Gussert

“Feminism has fought no wars. It has killed no opponents. It has set up no concentration camps, starved no enemies, practiced no cruelties. Its battles have been for education, for the vote, for better working conditions…for safety on the streets…for child care, for social welfare…for rape crisis centers, women’s refuges, reforms in the law.

If someone says, “Oh, I’m not a feminist,” I ask, “Why, what’s your problem?”

excellent question, looking forward to reading some answers.

personally I'm still working on the first step.

The UN says the ebola outbreak must be controlled within 60 days or else the world faces an "unprecedented" situation for which there is no plan.
this is absolutely fantastic as it unites the world into being OUR problem rather than THEIR problem.

One day at a time. Meditation. Allowing the wisdom of the teachings to enter. Observing change. Knowing that what we don't know is infinite. Somehow the passing of years seems to help.

As some of you may know, in the last 14 months I have experienced the truth of impermance deeply and directly.  It has been a struggle, to say the least, but I feel I am finally reaching a state of acceptance with all the changes that happened.  I had found a few talks on the third noble truth that speak very directly to the challenges I have faced when grief, depression, fear and anger arise.  I have been practicing noticing them, observing them with mindfulness, becoming aware of their opponent forces and allowing them to pass away.  Whatever arises, ceases.

I am not sure why anyone would want to do this.

People with a mission to save the earth want the earth to seem worse than it is so their mission will look more important.
