A quick read on how environment affects social animals; bonobos and chimps. www.pbs.org/wgbh/evolution/library/07/3/... Much more applicable to humans than penguins.

Penguin brains aren't much like human brains. To say that something that is true of penguin brains should also be true of human brains is . . . well, dumb.
the notion that evolution brought us a "social clan" which is what brought forth ethics and morals...
should be demonstratable with a social species
You still haven't figured out that penguins aren't the same as people.

either humans are "just another animal" or they aren't.
Not all animals are the same. Do you really not know that?
Do you ever intend to stop making ignorant arguments, or is it going to be one after another as long as you're posting here?

the link pretty much proves my point, as soon as an animal gets hungry it forgets all concept of morals and ethics.
So do we when we get hungry enough.

my theology says adherents are forbidden from kissing hands, and those who derive exercise by jumping to conclusions start screaming bloody murder "what the hell is wrong with kissing hands? you mean you can't kiss your wife's hand?"
and the answer is, I can't kiss a hand when it is a submission jesture such as to a pope or king.
Then your theology teaches you to be rude.
That explains a lot.

We have well documented cases of necrophillia and canibalism by humans. So is your point that people are penguins?

No, there are a number of possibilities. "Just another animal" isn't one of them. Clearly, we are animals, but just as clearly we differ from the other animals in important ways.

That's an irrational bifurcation. Why are you purposely leaving out other choices that do not involve god things?
those who think humans are just another animal need to make some form of attempt at explaining their position. You are the one that has to do the explaining. You claim a god is responsible for our ethics, so you have to prove your case. So far you have sophomorically tried to shift the burden of proof.
any stab the real issue of evolutionary involvement in the moral acceptance or rejection of necrophelia[sic] and rape? What's your obsession with necrophilia?

Amcolph: "No, there are a number of possibilities. "Just another animal" isn't one of them. Clearly, we are animals, but just as clearly we differ from the other animals in important ways." Indeed, homo sapiens sapiens is the only animal that uses sarcasm.
