My pointers only work when one follows the True Master. One has to forsake the old master(which we all had) for the TRUTH which sets one free.

The pointer I gave wasn't "scraps", but, nuggets of "gold  tried in the fire".

You know if we watch a movie we might get pretty excited if we meet the actors after the movie.


This exicitement pales in comparison......


Well one day its going to hit you......     Who is going to be in the credits of your life.   And these people who they are to you......   ITS THEM.


 


One day your gonna have the complete joy of understanding that Jesus IS.   This understanding means not only more then giving your life.....to know Jesus is worth even giving up the eternal life of paradise aswell.


 


To know Jesus and his love is not two seperate things.   One day your gonna learn your love and his are the same.

Galatians 3


23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.


   24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.


   25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Utilyan, True, we are not Islands, and we can absorb the good or the bad from every individual we interact with.


That is why it is important to focus upon Jesus and compare what information/events/etc. which tend to mold ones life on the things which are acceptable by Jesus.  To know(and LOVE) Jesus and be known by HIM is security that eternal life is ones and none can separate one from That LOVE.


Paul's writing to the Galatians is TRUE.  Jesus Christ is seen in those OT Scriptures----"They testify of Me". The Principles for right living are contained in those OT writings and verified in the NT by(HIS followers and) Christ's own living and Obedience to them. Jesus didn't condemn any of the "Scriptures"(HE did "fulfill the sacrificial/Ceremonial laws) , but HE did condemn the "traditions and commandments" MADE BY MEN.
