I think Metropolltan Jonah is addressing non-Orthodox influences on the Orthodox in America.  He is saying that the grandmothers now watch Protestants and Catholics on TV and that their children are now western educated and are sophisticated businessmen.

The grandmothers and the businessmen are two aspects of the same problem.  But they are distinct aspects.  The grandmothers are not western educated or sophisticated, and their children are not watching Benny Hinn.
