Hi, I'm a new member from NH, recently transplanted here in the brisk cold from Delaware (Dela-where?) so my wife could take a corporate job up here. I was raised Catholic (and some Protestant) and usually can't decide between those two. That will probably make no sense to anybody, most of all myself.
I became interested in Quakerism by accidentally happening upon the Journal of George Fox 15 years ago but I never endeavored to participate in that faith because I don't count war-protesting one of my chief talents. Recently, I was being thrust back into Catholicism by the sentiments of GK Chesterton's works, one of the most amazing prose-writers in the English language... Still, old George Fox's diary keeps calling back to me. Is there anything more sacramental than walking in the woods by yourself in gorgeous weather and you can hear God speaking to you (atheists read: "you can imagine you're hearing God speak to you)?
"The candle that is set up in us shines bright enough for all our purposes." -John Locke
