Indian mounds are old indian burial grounds, Karma . . . a number of native American tribes would bury their dead one on top of another, covering them with dirt, making  mounds . . . they are found in numerous locations in the U S . . . had one near where we used to live in Florida . . . attended a wedding celebrated on top of it years ago . . . don't know which tribe built it hundreds of years ago, but the Seminole Indians are the predominant tribe in Florida
