There are some wonderful  wine available. If you have a specific wine in mind that you can't locate, Use Local Wine Events - Pardon That Vine to find some near you currently there are many wine events listed. I recently came across while surfing the net. I am sure you too will find the site very helpful.

I bought 2 bottles of a red zinfandel this past weekend - each was about 4 bucks.  In all honesty, I've bought 100 dollar bottles that tasted worse.  (But I don't think I'll be getting those zinfandels again anytime soon!)  :))

What I've discovered about 4 buck wines is that they are rather sweet upfront.  Maybe those 100 buck wines were too dry for you.
