Hi, I'm new to this so bare with me. I'm have been a Buddhist for about a year now, but I have never been able to really get into it. My dad was the kind of man who would freak out if I told him about something like this. Now though I have been able to get more involved with my religion of choice. I have always been interested in Buddhism. I have great respect for a man who could give his life of wealth and luxury to be mendicant. If anyone can send me some suggestions as how I can get further into my religion that would be great.

Interesting. Myself I learned about it partially in the 6th grade, but now, 4 years later, I have become extremely interested in it. It's hard to follow some of the Paths though being a high school student. I can't count the times I had to stop myself and my friends from talking bad about other people!

6th grade would be 11. What grade would it be in the UK? And I think that statement is true - we all gossip, but I try to refrain from it.

Well that's around the same thing. I've always loved Europe. Do you like it there?

I have looked around and the nearest one is an hour away. I don't want to go that far away.
