I agree, Jupe.  This decision will delight some and horrify others but it's a step in the right direction, as is the Supreme Court decision on this same issue.

It does, though, it create a "how many angels on the head of a pin" question for us.


We were married under Washington's law governing same sex marriages but under TEC's Blessing Rite.


Are we actually married in the eye's of the Church? 


We asked our Dean. Although he has no defininitive answer yet, he thinks we will be subsumed into "marriage" based upon the Convention's ruling (at least I believe they ruled) that clergy couples married prior to the convention will be considered married and both partners covered by the Church's Pension Plan.  Comes down to money, ya know.
