I never heard of the word "catmatism" and when I tried to look it up in various online dictionaries I could not find it.

I did check the defination of the word dogma and found:

dictionary.reference.com/browse/dogmatic+

dogma: 2.  asserting opinions in a doctrinaire or arrogant manner; opinionated.

2. arbitrary, imperious, dictatorial.

However I did find the word at:

www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=...

1. Catmatism 1 thumb up

just opposite of Dogmatism -"Accepting the changes without being dogmatic".

a person who adopts a positive and revolutionary changes accordingly without being stubborn or stereotyped, is supposed to follow Catmatism.

You may recall Gene Wilder in the What is Sodomy? sketch in Woody Allen's Everything you Wanted to Know about Sex but were Afraid to Ask.

I'm sure Tielhard would be appalled that you make a reference to a film and not a 'personal experience'.
