I'm partly here because with only 14 million of us in all the world compared to 1.? Billions of Muslims or Christians, Judaism often gets misrepresented in some way or other by well-meaning but ignorant people.   

And I'd rather people understood what it is I actually DO believe and what's important to me, than simply assume 'backwards' from some other faith.  NOT that I see anything 'wrong' with any other faith......

The rest of the time I'm here to laugh at the idiots, who nearly all the time are the flaming fundies : ))   Once in a while one of you 'athies' suffers a brief bout of stupidity or something, but it's not very often.....

I've admired you, Buns, River,and Printer Lady (and really miss Clyde) and have enjoyed reading you folks posts for sometime now on Discuss Judaism, and have learned a lot about Judaism from you.

  Your point about assuming backwards rings very true- thats why I prefer to pay attention to those who actually practice their belief system and not their protagonists. Glad to have you here. You're one of the good folks.
