With due respect to the word of God, which I believe should be extolled and heard, I think your assertions don't reflect much dream study. You don't give any examples of interpretation that is modeled after Daniel or Joseph, either in experiences or methodology. in my experience with dreamwork, based on Dreams and Spiritual Growth, interpretation is not the goal. Assuming that one interpretation is reason for a dream's existence is to miss the ongoing reflection that leads to further insight into one's life, problems, growth, and self awareness as well as God's role and grace in the process.
The truth of the matter is your dreams are yours, mine are mine, Daniel's are Daniels, Joseph's were Joseph's, etc. We don't all live the same life nor share the same dreams. Dreams stump everybody a certain way. Your struggles in life are nothing like Daniel's. You give no examples on how "biblical imagery" helps those who are searching the meaning of their dreams.
I once made a study of dreams of the Bible and also a study on angels. I decided that the Bible is not a "manual" for anything, except righteousness. Its purpose is not to be a manual.
