Go with God, sweet child of God.

A conservative is someone who believes that firefighters, teachers, and police officers are overpaid.

"Wesley told the early Methodists to gain all they could and save all they could so that they could give all they could. It means that I consider my money to belong to God and I see myself as one of the hungry people who needs to get fed with God’s money. If I really have put all my trust in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, then nothing I have is really my own anymore."

Republicans experience suffering the way they experience all their virtues, i.e. vicariously.

According to "just war" standards of Christian theology, if Saddam Hussein killed 30,000 Iraqis, and the Iraq War killed 120,00, how was the War "just"?

Thanks!Well sense this MD let me turn  this into a more constructive debate. Question for Mormons on the show Sister Wives, does it bother Mormons that people might watch this show and get the wrong idea about Mormonism that Mormons are Polygamists?

What about what Codys friend said last week?He grew  up with Cody when Cody was Mormon, he said it bothered him that Cody and his wives could come to him and twist the Mormon message just a little bit and use it to witness to  him and it wouldbother him, do you think this show may be used as a witnessing tool to Mormons ? Is anyone bothered that some people could be witnessed to through this show to brought to the FLDS?

As  for me yea I got a crush but its gonna pass over pretty quick,I got a new guyfriend who is  a Poly partner, were not involved romantically nor physically but we spend time together  at home so I have  a feeling hes gonna keep me busy enough to keep my mind off this anyways and Ill soon forget about Cody.

the statement "Mormons are not polygamists" is not entirely true.

it is more correct to say "Mormons will become polygamists" when it doesn't get them in trouble with the US government.

by definition of being a church member they are agreeing to do "as God commands".

and God did not "command" the stopping of polygamy.

it was a case of: God did not have the power to protect His believers or assist them in obeying what they were commanded.

God rolled over to the whims of the United States government, kowtowing in the process, otherwise "the hand of man" would have extinguished the church.

polygamy is STILL canonized, anyone can read about it right here.

does anyone think polygamy would BE on the books if it is forbidden?

let's take an example of sex outside marriage...

where in the canon does it say sex outside marriage is permitted?

it doesn't, because that which is forbidden is NOT ambiguously condoned at the same time.

I was watching this show last night.

and couldn't help but shake my head wondering how much brain washing it takes to get a woman to insist her husband go next door and make the headboard slam the wall so she can have other children to help raise.

it so totally and thoroughly goes against the genetic programming of the female DNA that no rational person can make sense of it.

how does that feel to be a lawnmower man? must be a real rush.

Did JS's "revelation" in re: multiple hunnies really mean people to read it?  The gods, it is long and meandering.

Cant believe its been  6 weeks sense I put this up here.Im  over it.I still watch the show though.

Theres alot of polyamourous women who can relate to the polygamy lifestyle in that they like the freedom of not having to be with their  man all the time.

I cut my polyamourous relationship down from going out with my guyfriend ever weekend to every other weekend  so Ill have time to seek out  dating other men(after my surgery I  got a big complete histerectomy coming up it taking time time to run tests by  the time I get recovered from it it  might be 2 or 3  months from now).Ive only been dating him whilehe goes out with whomeevr he wants and he has no plans to marry me or live with me because he doesnt want to spend money on a relationship  I realized I havnt been  treated well basically just told  him "Newsflash dear Im gonna be looking to  date someone else".

Anyways would I  marry into polygamy? Not sure if he had a big house  and money to provide for  me and his other wives  maybe.

I watched the show with my parents a couple of times, they would not approve of my Moms xrated remarksabout them _comical myMoms got a  dirty mouth, first thing she said whenI said "Hey hes a cute sexy guy -------" She replied "well he better be a cute sexy guy real sexy hes got 4 wives  to please I  should hope so!"LMAO and all the nasty comments  came out it was funny.
