This guy discovered that money from Friends of Scouting mostly lines the pockets of higher ups at the BSA and was dismissed by his bishop as a scouting leader for doing so. The church leadership stated that he was realeased for spreading "misinformation" and "not following the prophet." What a joke.

even the TITLE of the article is misleading...

when did "truth" become "criticizing"?

the author is subliminally protecting the church.

this level of "follow the prophet" is unbelievable!

BLINDLY follow the prophet, as in don't ask questions (where does the fund raiser money go)

don't open your mouth (to tell anyone the salaries of the scout execs)

and don't think too much (about whether or not to contribute your share keeping the bottom line where it needs to be)

a political hierarchy is all the church is. and this man just sacrificed his political future for the value of truth, which existing leaders are unable to acknowledge.

how does that feel to be a lawnmower man? must be a real rush.

It is sad that this Church member came bearing the truth and was rebuffed by the Stake President.  What a shame for us to be hooked into funding drives designed to line the pockets of BSA executives.
