I don’t know what kind of judges he’ll put in, he’s not socially conservative. He would be better than Huntsmen tho.

while I thought Mitt was doing everything in his power to "be conservative today, never mind yesterday, just focus on how conservative he is today" I guess enough people see right through the flip flopping.

now I gotta know... what's up with Huntsmen?

Hunstman was the greatest governor we've had in my young life. Of course we've only had 5 that I can recall. He was very popular and was able to get things done. Its sad to see him kowtow to the tea party, I always expected that he was smarter and more prinipled than that. Oh well, he was born to a billionaire and they rarely know a thing about principle. They only care for the bottom line cause the buck stops at them.

every church member must answer for themselves "when would they disobey the prophet"

but no one is asking the only question that matters...

would a church member, as president, obey the prophet if commanded by God to do something involving their position of elected office?

is there any example in the history of the church... of an LDS politician disobeying ANY church leader because their conscience told them it's not in the best interest of their constituents?

do you think the failure to ask this question is due to not thinking philosphically enough to see why it matters, or not having the guts?

It seems to me that America should be governed by a Frenchman:  Passion, reason and logic, and an ability to reach across cultures, and dialog with world leaders about food, culture, and savoir faire.  Anglo-Saxons are such children in government; they do that the way they make love--lots of darkness, panting, and a cigarette.  "Shudder!"

A conservative is someone who believes that firefighters, teachers, and police officers are overpaid.

"Wesley told the early Methodists to gain all they could and save all they could so that they could give all they could. It means that I consider my money to belong to God and I see myself as one of the hungry people who needs to get fed with God’s money. If I really have put all my trust in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, then nothing I have is really my own anymore."

Republicans experience suffering the way they experience all their virtues, i.e. vicariously.

According to "just war" standards of Christian theology, if Saddam Hussein killed 30,000 Iraqis, and the Iraq War killed 120,00, how was the War "just"?

I thought all French politicians were philandering buffoons.

Only in America and when set-up, Monsieur
