Many times people say we act with excess.  But as you know there cannot  be an excess of love.  It is the one thing that we can do to harmonize  and balance our life.

Weeeellll, I'm not so sure that there can't be an excess of love, but as this isn't the sort of board to raise an argument to the contrary, I'll refrain.

"Act lovingly with respect for the other person's dignity and boundaries,  especially if you're a parent and the other is your child," I'd say. In which case, there is less likely to be an excess of love.

Maybe I've just read far too many self-help books? Ya think?

Life has three things to teach:  Simplicity, Patience, and Compassion.

When we are simple in action and in thought -- we return to the source of our being.

When we find that source -- we know what love truly is.
