I have the most serious doubts when I hear that quantum mechanics is some kind of link between science and spirituality. It may well be a link for all I know, but the materialistic administration of science will not allow one of its disciplines to become entangled with anything that smacks of what it calls 'the paranormal'. Erwin Schrodinger, father of Quantum Mechanics: "No personal God can form part of a world model that has only become accessible at the cost of removing everything personal from it." Schrodinger would have lost his job had he said anything else.
Richard Dawkins was the University of Oxford's Professor for Public Understanding of Science from 1995 until 2008. He is an atheist who was paid by the science community to debunk anything that did not fit in the scientific box

Such as it is , when we make it our lifes purpose to compare ourselves with the beliefs of those who have incarnated into our physical presense. Putting the desire to please and be acceptted into any group, ahead of your core desire to experience love and joy is a step in the wrong direction. By that I mean it will only lead to negative attachments, which will then lead to negative emotion, followed quickly with negative circumstance which of course is never our own fault... Right???
Bring the intention to experience Love and Joy into any group and you will immediatly encounter resistance. There is no Yin without the Yang. It takes an experienced eye to recognize perfect balance in motion. But when you do, you take this awareness and you ride it like you stole it. Nice Work Namaste Birk

Wow! That makes a lot of sense.
Putting the desire to please and be acceptted into any group, ahead of your core desire to experience love and joy is a step in the wrong direction. It get's better all the time!
Bring the intention to experience Love and Joy into any group and you will immediatly encounter resistance.
My heart goes out to you, as I can see that you've experienced a lot of rejection in your life.
There is no Yin without the Yang. It takes an experienced eye to recognize perfect balance in motion. But when you do, you take this awareness and you ride it like you stole it.
Well, I suppose there has to be a point to what you've just expressed, although I am loath to recognize just what it is. Cuold it be the medication?
Nice Work

Rejection.. No. Only here Chuckles. Here and on your Science forum. The only difference between you and I is that I no longer wonder why I am here. Why are you here? ( My loving way to tell you to have another shot, or express your Divine truth as you understand it) Your choice, Brother

Hi BIRK Namchuck I think that what BIRK is saying is that we should do what we want to do. "The whole of the law, is do what you will - but harm no one". I'm not unaware that my writings are unpopular with most at B.net, but it's what I do and I really don't give a toss for what anyone thinks or says. Namaste AL

Then we can laugh together!

No, that's not entirely true. I wonder why you are here, too.
The delusional joys of certitude, huh?
Why are you here? ( My loving way to tell you to have another shot, or express your Divine truth as you understand it)
To love my wife and kids, explore the awesome Universe I find myself in, walk my dog, or, in other words, enjoy my life for, as far as I - or anyone else - knows, its the only shot at it that I'll get.
Your choice, Brother
Namaste.

Beautiful... Thank You Dear Brother... I stand corrected as I refer back to my original observation that we have everything in common including a desire to experience the returning of that Love we flow to every physical being we encounter. The point of the original post is that too often we physical beings are to quick to sacrifice our own well being for the sake of being loved and accepted by those who fail to recognize their own "Divine Truth.

Your "original" post had little point at all, considering that it merely encompassed a number of elaborate assumptions unjustified by a scintilla of evidence.
While I am all for love, I don't see that it has to be accompanied by New Age twaddle.
