The Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh owns the property.  The Anglican Diocese does not.  Here and here and the official judgment is here.

Trinity Cathedral of Pittsburgh has voted to serve the Episcopal Church USA only.  They have been serving two dioceses since the formation of the new Anglican denomination:  Statement

I deems this a positive decision, however I'm a bit confused as to their decision to be open to hosting the ACNA and its diocese should they choose to make use of the cathedral facilities.

Does this mean that TEC diocese will rent its facilities to ACNA or what ?

AN interesting article on the Anglican Mission and the Anglican Church of North America.

Why donesn't the orphaned mission join ACNA?  www.tennessean.com/article/20120128/NEWS...

Nino,

Schismatics schism; this time over money and control/power.  Of course; it cannot be otherwise.

But --- multiplicity of groups to the rescue.  Here's a partial list of Anglicanoid sects the AMiA can affiliate with --- and later schism from.

It looks like ACNA is making overtures to the former Rwandan mission:

Unification of these two sects would be a good idea.  Let's keep them in our prayers.

"It's easier to make babies than it is to raise the dead".

I always saw schism as, at best, very unfortunate, and many time heretical; after reading the above quote in this article, I started rethining the idea.  Perhaps it is in our spiritual DNA to start new movement.  This certainly was the case from the beginning of Christianity.  Maybe that is the why we were meant to grow, and holding onto old forms through forcing conformity only kills the life of the Church.  The Apostle Paul could be consider a schismatic.

Not necessarily. Those schisms didn't have to happen but certain fractions gave into what society deems as moral. And as a whole we all look bad and have no credibility. Nothing DNA about it, just ignorance and people wanting to do what they want instead of what's moral.
