Hi Flowseeker!

January 1 was a great day for us numbers geeks.  The date was all 1's:  01/01/11, beginning the pattern which will repeat every eleven years through the century (02/02/22, 03/03/33, etc).  2011 is unique among all the years in this century because it also has a date in which all the numbers are the same: 11/11/11, continuing the pattern which will end next year with 12/12/12.

I bought lottery tickets on the theme of 1 and 11 to celebrate, but none of them paid off.
