BS"D

Here's a poem I thought up after talking to another person of another people on another forum in which I knew they would never understand.  I calll this poem:  Not Even Half-Blood Indian or FTBIA.

Old Man's skin reflects the color of Mother Earth.

Her blood is his flesh and his blood is the same color.

Old Man made many people.

As the people had children they became many colors.

A time came when the children looked at Old Man and made fun of his color.

They said to Old Man, you are not even a man because of your color.

Old Man knew all the children had the same red blood but this did not matter to them.

The children's mocking made Old Man ashamed and he walked away never to be seen since.

Oh children of man, look what you have done!

Oh children of man, feel what you have done!

In your proud hearts is an empty space where you rejected your own source of life.

And your children are born poor of spirit, mocking each other until there is no life left.

Wake up children of man.  Old Man is waiting for you.

A tired shrivelled-up ball of paper-thin red skin barely covering his bones.

He has only one tear left in his ancient and weathered eye and he is saving it for when you start looking for him again and finally find him.

Old Man can never die and has wept over countless graves of his dead children.

He has only one tear left.

Oh well, it wasn't important enough anyway.

Was there every really an Old Man?
