I AM FREAKING TIRED OF PEOPLE WHO DISS AND ATTACK UU! IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! My sister claims to be a Universalist, I believe she is but shes also more of a New Ager combination liberal Christian then a Universalist, shes always putting my church down and saying were too stinking Pagan! She says my church doesn have enough Christianity were too focused on Paganism, its too Paganized, we dont have music or praise and worship its stale its notn Christain enough!
Well too bad welike it the way it is, she use to belong to the Unity Christian church and I really believe she and alot of people think UU should be more like Unity, its not a freaking Unity church its UU!
I LOVE MY UU CHURCH > Well thats it Ive had it, Im getting more involved this year with my UU then I ever have, Im determined to go more regular and save my money to spend on gas this year.
Im also determined to get a tshirt with the UU logo, Im sick of people having all these Christian and religion imprinted tshirts and me being elft out I want one too. i may go out and buy one this month let yall known what it looks like, if I can take a pic and put it up here I will.
I love being a Unitarian Universalist and a Pagan and I'm sorry your sister is so confused and putting you down. That is not cool at all and we need to be more united as UU's, I love Unitarian Universalism.
Peace, Love, and Tolerance is much easier to talk about, then to practice, sad, but true. Stick to you're guns, you're in a free country where religous freedom is not dicated. Do what you will, and harm none.
