There is a lot of talk on this board about evil or bad or negative spirits.
This was the board I was most interested in when I first came to beliefnet, but when I saw so much info about protecting ourselves form bad spirits, I was really turned off. I stayed away a good while.
You see, it is my belief that choosing to believe in such spirits produces that very experience. In other words, if you believe in satan, then every time something doesn't go your way, you think satan is working against you. Believe me, everyone I know who believes in satan see him around every corner. Those of us who don't believe in such entities never seem to encounter them. When things don't go my way, I simply look for the lesson.
