Roodog, I see you missed the analogy.

This thread is getting too rough and tumble, perhaps the host should move it to Christian to Christian Debate.

Are you saying the truth of the presented Scriptures  is debate?  Is one to uphold the Words of GOD or the musings of men?

On this forum, sincerity, we have to keep the gloves on. On Christian to Christian we can use brass knuckles.

For those who have faith, no explanation is neccessary.
For those who have no faith, no explanation is possible.

Roodog, I prefer to use the Holy Spirit inspired Scriptures. The Scriptures were given by Him to heal and save one from destruction.

This thread was really meant to discuss Revelation 13:16-18. The so called mark of the Beast, which Scripture says that all people, rich and poor, small and great and free and bond are compelled to take.Without this mark they cannot buy or sell without it. It is tied is tied to the worship of the Beast, which is idolatry.

Hi Roodog,  True and agreed!  Worship of the beast is idolatry.  For your consideration--Is the new covenant a "chip" which is planted in one's heart and mind? As the GOOD LORD draws one to HIM with the cords of LOVE(not force), the receptive one is submissive to have the Laws of the covenant placed within one's heart and mind.

The Law is the law of love as explained in Romans 12.

The question here on the thread is or is not this recent development a fulfilment of the prophecy given in Revelation 13?

The mark spoken of here in Revelation is placed in the right hand or the forehead, not in the heart.

Hi Roodog, Rom. 12 is a compilation of the "goods works" in the keeping of the Decalogue. This is made evident in the very next chapter and is ,also, a reference to the "gifts" given by the Holy spirit. However, notice 13:8-10, "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law." The second great commandment. (Matt.22:36-40)  Jesus was emphatic that love to GOD was "the FIRST great Commandment." A total "fulfilling of the LAW" is by observing/Obedience to both parts. And those will be written in the TRUE BELIEVERS "Minds and hearts"(Heb.8:10) "For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:"

Rom.3:20, "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin." Today the Decalogue continues to point out sin as sin----and the penalty is still death.----and the remedy is still the applied blood of Jesus by repentance and Faith in HIS ATONING BLOOD. AND THAT THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD THE FATHER---who accepts that Gift.

Roodog,  one wouldn't need a "chip" to track who was "bowing to the image of the beast".  In such a scenario, one would only need be given a "token" when one had done so. Without such, no commercial activity.--------And since it is a "worship" activity, the masses who would submit to the Beast power would all be at those places where the "image" is located.
