I was wondering if swearing on the Gita is allowed? I mean from my understanding(i could be wrong) is that its jus a book til its spoken from the heart of the soul then the knowledge in it becomes divine knowledge

Its divine period. Krishna says in the fourth chapter " this divine science of how everything is related to the supreme is today told by me to you because you are my devotee and can therefore understand this science." Theres no difference between the knowledge of Krishna and Krishna himself due to him being absolute truth.
