I don't know if there is an exact Christian definition of God, so here is my opinion....
We both believe in God as omnipotent, omnipotent, and omniscient.
We both believe in one God.
When I was a kid I had a friend who died of cancer. When I asked the Minister why a good person would die, and my neighbor who was a jerk was alive, he said "God is not in control down here". To which I said "Wait, you're talking about God". Made no sense to me. I had to find a different set of beliefs after that.
So perhaps the only difference is that God is loving and even the negative force ("Devil" in Christinaity, and called "Kal" in Eckankar) is a servant of God to train Soul. This earth is a training ground for Soul, and while we may not see Gods plan, it all is on order. God is in control.
