My Church is considering purchasing new hymnals. Our current one's were published in the 60's. The latest publication I find on Cokesbury's website is from 1989. One Church member thinks she recalls hearing something about a newer publication about to be released. Is anyone else aware of this? If there's a pending 2009 or 2010 release, we'd be happy to wait.

I don't know about any newer copyrights, the ones we use are also copyrighted 1989, but thet are from the 27th printing in 2005.

Also, according to Paragraph 630.4b, page 406, of the 2008 Book of Discipline, the 1989 Hymnal is the latest one.
